Nepean Bay Getaway on beautiful Kangaroo Island

Self contained family home accommodating up to 10 people

Relax and enjoy beautiful KI

Kangaroo Island is the third largest island off the coastline of Australia, approximately 145 km long and 60 km wide at the widest point. The island is well known for it's large expanse of wilderness, fantastic scenery, excellent food and wine and great fishing. South Australia's renowned King George Whiting can be caught in Nepean Bay, as can schnapper, flathead, trevally, snook and garfish, all excellent table fish and great fun to catch.

Great sport can also be had with salmon trout, Australian Salmon, mullet, tommy ruff and squid.

Delicious bream can be caught in our fresh water rivers, sometimes up to 2 kg in weight.

Popular touring destinations are Seal Bay, Flinders Chase, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and Kelly Hill Caves. Lightstation tours can be taken at Cape Borda and Cape Willoughby.

Nepean Bay Getaway is ideally located on the southern shore of Nepean Bay, 10 minutes drive from the lovely fishing village of American River, and 20 minutes drive from Kingscote, Kangaroo Island's picturesque main town.

The Getaway is a large family home, well appointed and reasonably priced. The sea in front of the getaway is warm and shallow, so safe for small children, but a long beach with heaps of interesting areas to explore.
